Jimmie Wayne Adams

Jimmie Wayne Adams, 85, passed away Thursday at Ridgecrest Nursing Center in Jonesboro. He was retired from Emerson Electric after 30 years of service, was also a farmer and gardener raising sweet corn, a sports enthusiast, and was an avid ASU supporter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Essalee Thompson Adams and sister Carmon Adams.

He is survived by a multitude of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday from 12 until 1:00 pm with the funeral beginning at 1:00 with Rev. Eddie Gene Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Lasting Memorials to the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
