With heavy hearts and profound reverence, we announce the passing of Jesus Christ, lovingly known as the Messiah, who birthday is celebrated on December 25th each year, was born in the humble town of Bethlehem, and departed from this world on April 3 at Galgotha. His journey from a carpenter's humble workshop to becoming a teacher of the Word of God touched countless lives and reshaped the spiritual landscape for all time.
Jesus's life was a radiant testament to love in its purest form. He was the very definition of kindness and forgiveness, embodying a boundless compassion that embraced every soul without exception. To Him, no misstep or word spoken could ever be greater than the love He wished to share. This unyielding grace forged personal bonds with people from every walk of life, inviting them into a relationship rich with hope and redemption.
Known far and wide as the living God in human form, Jesus carried the extraordinary claims of being the Messiah, a truth He imparted with profound humility and unwavering conviction. His days were filled with familiar pursuits that revealed His gentle nature and joyous spirit: fishing by tranquil waters, sharing meals that nurtured fellowship, and teaching lessons that opened hearts and minds to divine truth.
Among His proudest miracles are the healing of the blind (John 9:1-34, Matthew 20:29-33), opening their eyes to both the world and faith; the cleansing of ten lepers (Luke 17:11-19), restoring their dignity and community; the healing of a paralytic lowered through a rooftop (Matthew 9:1-8), breaking barriers through faith; and the healing of an invalid in Bethesda (John 5:1-15). Countless were the lives touched by His extraordinary acts, including the woman healed of chronic bleeding by simply touching His garment’s fringe (Matthew 9:19-22). He demonstrated power over death itself, raising Lazarus after four days (John 11:1-46) and Jairus' young daughter from eternal sleep (Mark 5:21-43). In moments of profound need, He fed over 5,000 souls with only five loaves and two fish (Matthew 14:13-21) and calmed fierce storms (Matthew 8:23-27), bringing peace in chaos.
Yet Jesus's earthly journey ended in unimaginable suffering. He was beaten, tortured, mocked, spit upon, and crucified—a testament to the depth of His love and the sacrifice He bore for humanity. His death was a sorrowful chapter shadowed by pain but underscored by hope and salvation.
He leaves behind those who cherished Him deeply: His mother Mary, who bore Him as a virgin; His disciples—Peter, Andrew, James (son of Zebedee), John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James (son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot—who carried forth His teachings and witnessed His life lovingly; and countless believers from all nations who embraced His call to faith and followed His profound example. Jesus is also reunited beyond this mortal plane with His earthly father, Joseph; his forefathers of Christianity, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Noah, King David, and numerous other leaders in the faith.
Services to honor the life of Jesus will be held Sunday, April 5, 2026, at every Christian church around the world. All are encouraged to attend to honor the life of Jesus and see the ultimate impact he has left on this world. You do not have to know Him to attend. In fact, those who have never met him are strongly encouraged to learn about the amazing gift He has left for everyone in this world. Service times vary by location.
As we mourn the loss of the human Messiah, we also celebrate a life that forever altered the course of history and offered an eternal promise of love, forgiveness, and redemption. His legacy lives on in every heart touched by His teachings, in every soul uplifted by His acts of mercy, and in the enduring hope that the love He demonstrated will never be extinguished. He may be physically gone from this world right now.......but just wait!
