Jennie Lee Huggins departed this life on Wednesday, April 2, 2026, just two days shy of her 88th birthday. Jennie was born on April 4, 1938, in Lafe. She spent her childhood there and went to Lafe school through the twelfth grade.

In a beautiful testament to enduring love, Jennie married the love of her life, Claudine Huggins, shortly before her graduation. Together, they shared an extraordinary life, raising a family filled with love and laughter until Claudine's passing in 2006, just prior to their 50th wedding anniversary.

As a devoted homemaker, Jennie poured her heart into caring for her home and family. She was renowned for her culinary talents, delighting all with her extraordinary baking, which included beloved dishes like blackberry cobbler, blueberry pie, and chicken and dumplings. Gathering around her table, family and friends would savor the fruits of her labor, enveloped in the warmth of her hospitality.

Jennie embraced her passions for sewing and gardening; whatever she planted flourished under her nurturing care. She found immense joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

A devoted member of Fairview Baptist Church, Jennie's faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and nurturing her relationships.

Jennie Lee Huggins is survived by her loving daughters, Patsy (Marvin) Reeble of Illinois and Teresa (Leonard) Chamberlain of Paragould, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Chris (Melissa) Huggins whom Jennie raised as a son, Jeremy Hussong, Amanda (Cody) Abbey, Rodney (Jenny) Herzner, Linda (Curtis) Mosser, Brandon (Amber) Chamberlain, Jazmin (Jon) Gray, Misty (Justin) Gray, and Tim Roberts; nineteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; honorary son, Tommy Chamberlain; and sons-in-law, Rodney Herzner, Sr. and Brian Hagermann.
