Jefferson "Chase" Holifield, 42, of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, after a short battle with brain cancer. He was born in Paragould on April 12, 1982. Chase graduated from Greene County Tech and received his Bachelor's degree in history from Arkansas State University. A dedicated "Milk Man" employed by Turner Dairy, Chase was not only a hard worker but a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Amber. His adoration for his son, Harrison, was unparalleled, evident in their shared moments of joy and laughter.
Chase was a man of many passions, deeply rooted in his love for Razorback football and the thrill of fantasy football competition. His enthusiasm for rock concerts was unwavering, and he enjoyed attending concerts with Amber and with his buddies. Chase's heart overflowed with affection for his canine companions, Kiba (who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge) and Sasha Bell, both of whom held a special place in his life. Known for his reverence for collectibles, Chase's collection of comic books and action figures served as testaments to his joy in the simplicity of cherished items. A treasured part of his legacy, these collections remain in their original packaging are destined to be cherished by his son, Harrison, in the years to come.
Chase is survived by his bride, Amber; son, Harrison; father, Jeff (Dawn) Holifield; mother, Virginia Gist; grandmother, Gracie McDaniel; Mawmaw, Madyleen Holifield; special uncle and aunt, Keith and Susan Holifield; three sisters; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded by his grandfather, Judson McDaniel, and Pawpaw, Gale Holifield.
Chase's Celebration of Life will be Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 6 pm at Heath Funeral Home with Keith Holifield officiating. A visitation will follow the service until 8 pm.
