Janice "Jan" Reddick

Janice "Jan" Reddick, departed this life on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on December 19, 1931, in Kennett, Missouri, Jan spent her life as a beloved mother, dedicated community member, and cherished friend.Jan was a longtime member of West View Baptist Church, where her faith and commitment to service inspired those around her. A prominent figure in the Paragould community, she worked in retail for many years, leaving a lasting impact through her ownership of Fashion III, formerly known as Jim's Fashions, located on Pruett Street. Her vibrant personality and keen sense of style brought joy to her customers and friends alike.In her leisure time, Jan found delight in simple pleasures, enjoying word puzzles and coloring books-activities that brought her peace and happiness. Her love for life was infectious, and she embraced every moment with enthusiasm.

She married her dearest love, Jay Reddick on November 18, 1950. Together they built a life of love that continued after his passing in 2007.Jan is survived by her devoted daughter, Dana Patraw, who carries forward her legacy of kindness and strength; brother, Darrell Shultz of San Juan Capistrano, California; sister, Mareda Shultz Dortch of Rock Falls, Illinois; cousin, Kathy (Keith) Hutchison of Paragould; nephews, Keith Shultz of Kentfield, California and Jeff Shultz of Hemet, California; nieces, Terry Dortch Albert of Rock Falls and Theresa Shultz Walden of San Juan Capistrano; and several great nephews and nieces. Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. H.O. and Lennie Kirkman Shultz; husband, James "Jay" Reddick; and sisters, Sonja Shultz Gammill and Lamona Shultz Hatton.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 10 AM at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Marc Reeves officiating.
