James Robert Johnston

Robert Johnston, 72, of Paragould, passed away Friday at Greene Acres Nursing Center. He was a retired Industrial Construction Worker. James was the son of the late General and Lena Cannamore Johnston. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sue Johnston; five brothers, Leroy, Kenneth, Nathan, Jack and Jerry Johnston and one sister, Aldean Rhien .

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Farabi of Jonesboro; granddaughters, Saraya Rice and Tasia Dale; grandson, Ameer Jamaludin; great grandchildren, Bently Jamaludin, Olivia Morgan, Madelyn Tyler, and Jaycee Dale; sisters, Hazel Young of Rockford, IL, and Alapha Flotard of Bugota, NJ; brother, David Johnston of Marmaduke; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Pine Log Cemetery with Rev. Charles (Davey) Johnston officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Young, Kenneth Young, Joe Lowe, Wes Johnston, Wade Johnston, and Adam Johnston.
