James K. Smitherman

James K. Smitherman, 83 of Flat Rock, MI, formerly of Paragould, died Tuesday at his residence. He was a WWII veteran. While in Paragould he attended the 1st Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Winona Smitherman, parents, Edwin and Bessie Smitherman and 3 sisters. Survivors include daughters, Brenda Tobara and Beverly Smitherman; son, James E. Smitherman; grandchildren, Johnny and Jamey Branham; great grandchild, Blake Branham; Sister, Barbara Jean Fann. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Paul Bean officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
