Hubert "Bud" Cloyes, Jr.

Hubert "Bud" Cloyes, Jr., of Paragould passed away Sunday July 14, 2019 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center at the age of 94. He was a postman for 23 1/2 years and an avid gardener. Bud was a veteran of the US Army during WWII and a member of the First United Methodist Church . He was the son of the late Hubert Alexander and Maani Curry Cloyes, Sr. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Roberta Ramey, Ella Chitwood, and Charlene Stephens.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Valicia Garner Cloyes of the home; daughter, Carolyn (Charlie) Brandon of Heber Springs, AR; grandchildren, Bryan (Jaemye) Brandon of Utah and Tracy Brandon of New Mexico; great-grandchildren, Kelsye Thompson and Gavin Brandon; many nieces and nephews. Special appreciation to the loving staff and residents at Chateau on the Ridge and Dr. Stacey Noel.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:30 in the chapel with Rev. Jason Noel officiating. Burial will be private at Linwood Cemetery.

Lasting memorials are asked to consider the Chateau on the Ridge or the First United Methodist Church of Paragould.
