Harold Eugene Wrinkle Sr, age 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 29th, 2020 in Evening Shade, Arkansas. Harold was born July 16th, 1944 to Raymond and Ozella Wrinkle. Harold had 7 siblings, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
He was a simple man and he worked hard for everything he had. Harold was the definition of a “jack of all trades.” There were very few things he didn’t know how to fix, and if he didn’t he
would sit down and take the time to figure it out. Harold enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his
younger years and having breakfast every morning at the local diner in Marmaduke, Arkansas
with friends and family.
Some of his hobbies included, watching the Cardinals, spending time with his family, working
and tinkering on things, and picking on his children and grandchildren. Harold was a stubborn
man, and would often offer up his words of wisdom if need be. Along with his orneriness came a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked, and if you knew Harold that would be easy enough because the top three buttons were always undone anyways.
Harold was a father, a papaw, an uncle, a brother, and a friend. Although he wouldn’t want us to mourn or be sad about his passing, we will miss him here on earth greatly, but we know he is resting peacefully with Jesus and fixing all of the things in heaven that he possibly can get his hands on.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ozella Wrinkle; wife, Avalon Wrinkle; one brother, Lonnie Wrinkle; and one sister, Susie Johnson; and one great-niece, Ashley Guinnip.
Harold is survived by three daughters and one son, Rhonda Herrmann of Evening Shade, Tabitha (David) Sherrod of Searcy, Harold Eugene Wrinkle Jr of Evening Shade, and Gail Wrinkle of Evening Shade; four brothers, Charles (Stella) Wrinkle of Lafe, Joe (Lou) Wrinkle of Colorado, Loyal (Shirley) Wrinkle of Lafe, and Roger Dale (Pit) Wrinkle of Jonesboro; one sister, Teresa Patrick) Wrinkle-Davis of North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Lavada Wrinkle of Marmaduke; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Harold requested to be cremated and spread on the hill in Marmaduke, Arkansas alongside his brother Lonnie and great-niece Ashley. There will be a memorial service held on Sunday,
December 6th, 2020 at 1:00 in the afternoon at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas.
