Listen to Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce that little Harlee Rose Hulmes was born into the arms of Jesus on June 27, 2026, at just 26 weeks gestation. Though her precious time with us was brief, her spirit already made a profound impact on her family and those who loved her dearly.

Harlee came to us in Paragould, where her mother, Tameka Franklin, and father, Alex Hulmes, eagerly awaited her arrival. Throughout her brief journey in the womb, Harlee brought joy in the most playful ways. She had a sweet tooth for sour candy that her mother couldn't resist, and her little kicks would erupt whenever the family dogs nestled close to Tameka's belly. Her sister, Lydia, cherished the gentle pushes Harlee would send her way while sitting against their mother's belly, bonding in a way only sisters can. However, Harlee was a spirited soul who made her displeasure known during ultrasounds, kicking constantly whenever someone pushed against her mother's belly.

Harlee leaves behind an adoring family: her parents, Tameka Franklin and Alex Hulmes; beloved sister, Lydia Hulmes; Papa and Nana, Tony and Lisa Franklin; and grandpa, Steve Hulmes. Each of them carries the memory of their little girl-her feisty spirit, her tiny kicks of love, and the hopes and dreams they held for her future. Harlee is united in heaven with her Mommom, Donna Hulmes, who preceded her arrival.

At this time, there are no services planned. However, as we honor Harlee's brief yet meaningful life, we invite those who wish to celebrate her spirit to keep her memory alive in their hearts.

Though her time here was fleeting, Harlee Rose Hulmes will always be a cherished part of our family's story. She will be missed immeasurably but will continue to shine brightly in our memories and hearts.
