Glenn Ray Stonebraker

Glenn “Stoney” Ray Stonebraker, 74, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Memphis V.A. Medical Center. Glenn was born January 28, 1934 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania the son of the late Glenn and Mable Stonebraker and was also preceded in death by his sister. He enjoyed a successful military career retiring from the Coast Guard as a chief petty officer. He later owned and operated Stoney’s Bike Shop. Survivors include by his wife Juanita, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, James and Brenda Stonebraker of Memphis; sisters: Gwenivere Brisbon and Rita Parker of Tyrone, Pennsylvania; brother, Robert Buck; step grandchild, John William Lamberth of Jacksonville, Florida; and five great-grandchildren and a host of close friends. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:30 PM Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel at 1:30 PM Wednesday with Reverend Dave White officiating.
