Georgia Bateman

Georgia Bateman, 86, of Paragould, passed away Saturday in Walnut Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center. She was a retired seamstress and child care provider. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Georgia was the daughter to the late R.T. and Lora Graham.

Survivors include her husband, R.D. Bateman of the home; daughter, Tina (Keith) Rhodes of Bremen, AL; son, Dale (Pat) Bateman of Valrico, FL; brother, Charles Graham of Paragould; sister, Sue Lucius of Paragould; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation is Wednesday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Funeral service begins at 1 pm Thursday in Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Boyce Cate officiating. Burial is in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Pallbearers are Keith Rhodes, Dale Bateman, Kevin Bateman, Mike Graham, Mark Graham and Glenn Wheeler. Memorials may be sent to the Alzeheimer's Association.
