George Albert Hopkins, Sr.
April 1, 1940 — March 17, 2020
George Albert Hopkins, Sr., 79, of Marmaduke, passed away Tuesday evening. He was a United States Navy veteran and of the Baptist faith. George is the son of the late Theodore and Mable Jackson Hopkins. He is also preceded in death by one sister, Velma McCrory.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, George Albert Hopkins, Jr. and Angel M. Hopkins of Springdale; one sister, Patsy Hopkins of Marmaduke; one brother, Teddy Hopkins of Germantown, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Kassondra Nicole Steward; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 pm in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey's Chapel. Online tributes www.heathfuneralhome.com
