Gary Lynn Long

Gary Lynn "Jake" Long, 59, of Paragould, died Tuesday, at his home in Paragould. He was retired from Emerson Electric and from the Army National Guard. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Betty and Bob Hays; father, Harold K. Long; daughter and son-in-law: Nikki and Jason Houston; son: Jeremy Long; brother: Robert Long; sister: Susan Gramling; mother of his children: Tammy Cannon, all of Paragould; nieces and nephews: Jamie and Jeremy Rickey, Trevor and Kayla Gramling, Chelsea and Adam Watkins, Ben Gramling, Michael Robert Long; great nephew: Camden Gramling; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Wayne Long and niece, Jennifer Ward. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Marmaduke. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Gary's life at 6:30 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2011.
