Galen Talmedge Stringer

Coach Galen Stringer, 80, of Jonesboro died Thursday. He was the son of the late E.G. and Mary Stringer. He was also preceded by his wife, Carolyn Stringer; daughter, Tonya Stringer; and brother, George Stringer. Survivors include daughter, Angie Stringer, granddaughters, Rachil and Josey Wright; son-in-law, Joey Wright; and sisters, Jolenda Jackson and Mary Harris. Visitation is Friday from 10-10:30am at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service is Friday at 11am at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Heath Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
