Dewayne Lewis, left this world on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on May 5, 1962, in Walnut Ridge, Dewayne was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose love for family and passion for life were evident in everything he did. He married his true love, Tanya Faith Davidson, on June 21, 1986.
Dewayne was a proud truck driver, serving the transportation industry for many years with unwavering commitment. His work took him across the highways, but it was his hobbies that truly defined him. He found joy in fixing and painting cars, often immersing himself in the local car show scene. His favorite, and most longed for, classic car was a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Coupe.
An adept builder, Dewayne transformed his skills into creating several houses and shops around Paragould, leaving a lasting imprint on the community. His strong work ethic and ingenuity were highlighted by his ability to build anything he envisioned.
Dewayne was of Baptist faith, and he gave his life to the Lord through salvation and baptism. He is survived by his beloved spouse of 40 years, Tanya Lewis; his children, Drew (Erin) Voss of Georgia, Angel Champion of Cardwell, and Nikki (Glenn) Wycoff of Cardwell; grandchildren, Jada, Zander, Phoenix, Zoie, Korbin, Remington, Lil Glenn, Cyric, Myste, and Sierra; siblings, Reba Cunningham, Ruben Pruitt, and Tommy Pruitt; and several great grandchildren. His warmth and humor will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his Nanny and Pa, Esther and Sherman "Doc" Spurlock, and mother-in-law, Wanda Davidson.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Heath Funeral Home. The visitation will be from 12-1 PM with the funeral beginning at 1.
