Frankie "Frank" Lynn Edmiston III, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend, passed from this life on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on January 12, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, Frank was a proud graduate of Greene County Tech High School. He dedicated his life to the automotive industry as an accomplished auto body technician and owned his own collision and auto body shop, where he found immense joy in working on vehicles and helping others.

Frank married Brenda Kay Phipps in the early 1970s. Their marriage flourished with love and companionship until Brenda's passing in 2020. Together, they created countless cherished memories, from planning delightful dates to enjoying motorcycle rides and trail adventures on their side-by-side. Frank's love for Brenda was a cornerstone of his life, and their bond will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew them.

A proud veteran, Frank served his country in the United States Army, embodying the values of dedication and service throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Jennifer Edmiston, his caring brother, Don and Rachel Edmiston, and his loving sister, Phillis and Dale Mifflin, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and resilience. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frankie Lynn, Jr. and Gladys Retherford Edmiston; his bride, Brenda Edmiston; infant twin brothers, Ronnie and Donnie Edmiston.

Frank will be remembered not only for his hard work and devotion to his family but also for his incredible sense of humor. He had a rare gift of making everyone around him laugh, lifting spirits with his quick wit and playful personality. Whether through a perfectly timed joke or his contagious laugh, Frank's lightheartedness brought joy to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be remembered fondly as a man who embraced life to the fullest. He will be missed dearly but will remain forever in our hearts.
