Frank H. Ashby, Sr.

Frank H. Ashby , Sr., 88, of Paragould, formerly of Blytheville, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. He was born October 17, 1921 in Rosa, Arkansas the son of the late W.E. and Annie Lee Harmon Ashby. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, L.K. and Bob Ashby and sister, Mae Burks. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paragould. He served his country in the Army Air Corps during the World War II. Survivors include his wife, Irene Ashby of the home; daughter: Carol Moreland of Paragould; son: Frank H. Ashby of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Jennifer Wamock Steele, Libby Wamock Taylor, Emily Ashby; great grandchildren: Julia and Garrett Taylor, Lindsey and Lauren Steele. The family will recieve friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Tom Letchworth officiating.
