Frances Elaine Morris, born on August 1, 1943, in Rector, Arkansas, and a beloved resident of Knob, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of 82.
Elaine was a devoted paraprofessional educator whose impact on the lives of her students and her blunt honesty resonated throughout her long career in education. She was deeply engaged in her community and a dedicated member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Knob, where her faith and kindness touched many lives.
Elaine was much more than her professional accomplishments; she was a cherished matriarch to her family. She is survived by her son, Parrish (Terry) Morris; her grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Morris and Krystle (Eric) Thul; her great-grandchildren, Mason, Taylor, Leila, Malachi (Breigh) Morris; and her great-great-grandchildren, Brynlee Morris, Jaxton Morris, and Waylon Morris. Elaine also leaves behind her loving siblings: sisters, Shirley (Larry) Catt, Becky (Bob) Ingram, Wanda Martin, Marcia (Roger) Farmer, Leisa (Bryan) Wesley, and Dianne (Dennis) Tipton, as well as brothers, Eddie Arnold and David Arnold.
Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert Morris; her son, Robert Morris, Jr.; her father, Roy Wilcoxson; her mother, Christeen Arnold; and her sister, Peggy Wilcoxson.
An avid cook and enthusiastic traveler, Elaine cherished the annual trips she took with her sisters, creating memories that will be fondly remembered by all who shared in those experiences. She found great joy in reading and was never without her beloved house dogs, whose companionship brought her much comfort.
A visitation will take place at Heath Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
