Faye Rosezetta "Rose" Hoskins, 84, passed away on April 28, 2024, at The Cottages of Belle Mead in Paragould. She was born in Success, Arkansas, on April 26, 1940, to the late Clyde and Vernice Hudson. Rose graduated from Cardwell High School in 1958. She married the love of her life, Danny, on May 5, 1961. Rose was a member of Pruett's Chapel Methodist Church. Over the years, she worked at Emerson Electric, General Electric, and RedBook; however, her favorite pastime was spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her spouse, Danny Hoskins of Paragould; children, Danny L. (Lisa) Hoskins, Teresa (John) Jordan, and Lakyn Hoskins, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Rhease (Haley) Hoskins of Paragould, Claire Hoskins of Fayetteville, Erica (Evan) Coffel of Paragould and their children, Eli and Zac, Leanne (Kyle) Harris of Paragould and their children, Phoebe and Parker, Brittany (Bobby) Messer and their children, Ashlyn, Bailey, Chloe, and Eden, Brandon (Whitney) Freeman and their children, Evelyn and Beau, Amanda (Jeremy) Harp and their children, Willow and Judah, Adrian (Brandon) Freeman and their child, Wynston, and Braxton Todd of Paragould; brother, Jim (Yonne) Hudson; and several nephews and nieces.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents Clyde Hudson and Vernice Barnes; sisters, Shirley Hopkins, Lenda Pruett, Glenda Burcham, and Norma Kunza; brother, Eugene Hudson; and brother-in-law, Bobby Hoskins.
Rose cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She found joy in painting, cooking, shopping, and diving into murder mysteries, especially the works of Mary Higgins Clark. Rose's handmade birthday cakes were a special part of celebrating the lives of her loved ones.
She will be remembered for her delicious fried potatoes and her famous hamburger steak with gravy. Rose's love and care extended beyond words and manifested in the heartfelt delicacies she created.
Rose's funeral service will take place at Heath Funeral Home on May 1, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Aaron Neugebauer officiating. A visitation will be from 12-1 PM. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Evan Coffel, Eli Coffel, Chris Matthews, Parker Harris, Kyle Harris, and Andy Hoskins. Honorary pallbearers are John Jordan, Greg Hopkins, Jim Pruett, and Jeff Burcham.
