Eudena "Dena" Mae Morrow

Eudena "Dena" Morrow, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 83. She was born on December 10, 1940, in Peach Orchard, Arkansas, to the late Thomas and Cona Steele.

Dena led a simple yet meaningful life, cherishing the moments spent with her loved ones. Dena spent a few years as a dog groomer. She had a unique way of connecting with animals and bringing out their inner beauty. She took great pride in her work, providing comfort and care to the four-legged companions she encountered.

In her leisure time, Dena found solace in creative activities. She possessed a talent for sewing and crochet, producing intricate and beautiful pieces that showcased her artistic flair. However, it was in the kitchen where Dena truly shone. She derived immense joy in cooking and baking, with her chicken and dumplings and mouthwatering cinnamon rolls being legendary among family and friends. The aroma of her dishes filled the air, creating memories and bringing loved ones together around the table.

Her faith played a crucial role in Dena's life, and she was a member of 10th Street Missionary Baptist Church. Her unwavering devotion and strong belief guided her through both joyous and challenging times, providing her with strength and hope.

Dena leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted daughters Tammy (Farron) Toler and Susie (Shawn) Farley, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Will (Ashley) Toler, Katlyn Wright, Hailey (Trevor Beliew) Wright, and Hayden (Hailey) Farley; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Farley. Dena was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Morrow; and sons, Tony Wayne Payne and Tommy Nicholas Payne.

To honor and celebrate her life, family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 5-7 pm at Heath Funeral Home.
