Emma Josephine (Jo) Ryan

Emma Josephine (Jo) Ryan, 85, of Paragould, died Monday at Belle Meade Healthcare. Jo was a member of 7th & Mueller Church of Christ and had retired from Fred’s Dollar Store. Jo also worked as a waitress at Ember Glo, Holman’s and Tony’s restaurants. She was preceded in death by; her 1st husband Charles Edward Davis; 2nd husband Gene Ryan; parents, Ed and Minnie Owens Powers; sisters, Euna Mae Apadoca, Dorothy Simpson, Verda Futrell and a son Charles Wayne Davis. Survivors include sons, Dennis (Debbie) Davis, Ralph Ryan and fiancé Theresa Treece; daughter, Cathy (O’Neal) Thomas; daughter-in-law, Cathy Davis. Five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, John Powers all of Paragould; sister, Ovillia DePriest of Boliver, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gene Day officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chaney, Daniel, Tyler, Devon and Charles S. Davis and Dustin Hadley. Honorary pallbearer, Allen Summers.
