Ella Laverne Hyde

Ella Laverne Hyde, 74 of Paragould died Friday at Belle Meade Nursing Home. Ella was a retired machine operator at Monroe and a Homemaker. She was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church. Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Hyde; parents James and Irene Ledbetter Gatewood, one brother and one sister. Survivors include daughters, Sharon Gray of Paragould and Nancy Ezell of Drasco, AR; son, Michael Thompson of Paragould; sisters, Alice Landsdale and Pauline Newman of Michigan, Norma Counce and Jo Ann Petero of Hoxie, AR; brothers, Robert Gatewood of Paragould, James Gatewood of Little Rock, AR, Jimmy Gatewood of Missouri and Clark Gatewood of Hoxie, AR; grandchildren, Dariell Ezell of West Memphis, Vanessa Rogers of New Caney, TX, Crystal Stayton of Alicia, AR, Jesse Fry of Lafe, Wesley Thompson of Walnut Ridge; step grandchildren, Nicki Cupp and Matt Pitcher of Paragould and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
