Earl Keith Clifton finished his race and won his victory , Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 4:56 am, at the age of 61. He was born May 9, 1958 to John Earl and Wanda Lou (Gramling) Clifton. He was of the Church of Christ faith and diligently served the Lord by spreading God's word. Keith was married to Becky Harris on March 17, 1979 and they made their home in Evening Star, Arkansas, where they raised their family. He loved spending time with his family and friends and shooting guns. In Keith's early years, he learned to play guitar contributing to an appreciation for music and singing. He was known for his story telling, and visiting with new people or anyone who would listen. He enjoyed his work as a farmer and land leveler, and in his younger days as a deputy for Greene and Ashley Counties. He did his fair share of horse and gun trading and liked to show off findings. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, two brothers in law, Louis Orick and Archie Henson.
Survivors include Becky Clifton, his wife of 40 years, daughter, Megan (Jason) Baird, Paragould; son, John Clifton and dog Cannon, Evening Star; Grandchildren, Jaxson Mitchell (his father Eric Mitchell) and Lincoln Baird, Paragould; Sisters, Taun (Jimmy) Smith, Paragould and Lynn Henson, Evening Star; an aunt and uncle; five nieces and five nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews;
