Douglas Owen Grooms

Douglas Owen Grooms, 58, of Memphis, formerly of Paragould died May 17, 2009 as the result of an auto accident. He was born July 5, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri and was a construction worker. Survivors include his wife, Judy Grooms of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law; Dusty and Tina Grooms of Murfreesboro, TN, Jami and Sandy Grooms of Lawrenceburg, TN and Jeremy and Melissa Grooms of Paragould; parents, Elmer and Mary Kappleman Grooms of Paragould; sisters, Clarice Grooms and Kimberly Sinz of Nashville, TN; and four grandchildren, Gabriel Settlemoir, Katelyn Grooms, Dakota Hall and Sierra Hall. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-9 pm at Heath Funeral Home for everyone.
