Dortha Violet Ragsdell

Dortha Violet Ragsdell, 94, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late James Gordon and Gertrude Fears Morrow. Dortha was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. Her hobbies included cooking, spending time with family, and planting flowers. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Ragsdell; son, Mike Ragsdell; and two brothers, Denver Morrow and Leon Morrow.

Survivors include son, Philip Ragsdell, of Paragould; three grandchildren, Jennifer Heinrich, Grant Ragsdell, and Gracie Ragsdell, all of Paragould; three great grandchildren, Carrie Peyton, Britney Peyton, and Allie Heinrich, all of Paragould; daughter-in-law, Shelia Ragsdell, of Paragould.

Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh cemetery with Larry McFadden officiating.
