Dorothy Johnson

Dorothy May Johnson, 74, of Paragould, departed this earth Friday to be with her Heavenly Father. She was a charter member of Blue Cross General Baptist Church and was retired from Prestolite Wire Co. She was the daughter of the late Rev. S.P. and Hazel Brashears. She was also preceded by her husband, Donald Leo Johnson and son, Gregory Don Johnson. Dorothy is survived by her grandsons, Jeremy Johnson, Bowling Green, KY, and Travis Johnson, O'Kean; great-grandson, Gunner Johnson, Paragould; brothers, Elmer Brashears, Blytheville, Willard Pentecost, Harriet, AR, and Joe Pentecost, Pocahontas; and sister, Ruth Wooldridge, Osceola. The family will receive friends Monday from 10-11am at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11am with Rev. Jerry Pentecost and Rev. George Haygood officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
