Delores Mildred Hoggard

Delores Mildred Hoggard, affectionately known as "Doris" and endearingly called "DoDo" by her friends at work, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on November 14, 1932, in Red Rock, Doris embodied a diligent spirit and an unwavering work ethic throughout her life, dedicating over 30 years to her career as a factory worker in Kansas City.

Doris was not only known for her remarkable labor in the industry but also for her commitment to personal fitness; following her long days at work, she would often hit the gym and run several miles, embodying the resilience and determination that defined her character. A passionate gardener, she found joy in planting flowers at her home, turning her yard into a vibrant sanctuary that mirrored her nurturing spirit.

Doris is survived by her devoted husband, Marvin "Marv" Hoggard; her sons, Gary Foster and Tom Foster; her stepson, Tim Hoggard; as well as her cherished siblings: sisters Betty Joe, Bobbie, Valarie, and Jessie Lou, and brothers Mack and Richard "R.M."
Delores was preceded in death by her father, Howard Ewing; mother, Maggie James Ewing, and her sisters: Jean, Hildred, Estell, and Patsy Sue.

Her family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate her life at Finch Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The family will receive friends during a public visitation at 1:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Tyler Bramlett. Doris will then be laid to rest at Finch Cemetery, where she will be honored by a dedicated group of pallbearers: Kenny Meilke, Justin Fletcher, Myron Davis, Paul Hoggard Jr., Hulen Cobb, and Michael Agee.

Doris Hoggard leaves behind a legacy of strength, dedication, and love that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
