Debra Sue "Debbie" Arnett, a devoted mother, compassionate social worker, and beloved friend, passed away on February 19, 2026, in her hometown of Paragould, Arkansas. Born on September 26, 1956, in Paragould, Debbie dedicated her life to serving others, tirelessly advocating for those in need through her many jobs which included work with the Department of Human Services (DHS). Her heart and spirit were deeply rooted in her community, reflecting her unwavering commitment to helping individuals and families facing challenges.

Debbie found immense joy in family and sports. She was a fiercely supportive mother to her children, Nicole (Aaron) West, Jeremy Arnett, and Britt (Yvonne Kamdem) Arnett, and her love extended to her grandchildren; Makaylah Arnett, Drake Arnett, Emmalyn Aden West, with whom she cherished every moment. She will also be survived by her siblings; Georgia Rogers, Mike (Sharen) Tibbs, Richard Rogers, Shane Huckabee, Kevin (Natalie) Tibbs, and Rose Rogers; and her grand-babies that she was anxiously awaiting to meet; Nathan John and Cambria Debbie Kamdem-Arnett. An ardent sports enthusiast, Debbie enjoyed attending ballgames and would often spend hours at the gym cheering for her favorite teams. She had a particular fondness for competitive sports, from local sports teams to the professional level, her enthusiasm was contagious.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Amos Rogers; mother, Opal "Sally" Huckabee; bonus-mom, Bonnie Rogers; brother, Danny Rogers; brother, Britt Huckabee; step-brother, Tim Tibbs; cousins, Kimmy Don Rogers, Randy Aden, and Sheila Faye Rogers; uncles, Albert Rogers, Donald Aden; aunt, Joyce Aden; and nephew, Jackson Barr.

A member of the 7th and Mueller Church of Christ, Debbie's faith was integral to her life. Even when unable to attend services in person, she remained connected to her church community through online streaming. Her faith provided her with strength and a sense of purpose as she navigated life's challenges.

Debbie had a remarkable talent for bringing joy and laughter to those around her. With her sharp wit and playful sarcasm, she communicated love in a way that all could appreciate. Her laughter would often echo in gatherings, as she delighted in making others smile.

A celebration of Debbie's life will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Public visitation will begin at 2:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Larry McFadden will be officiating. All are invited to join in honoring her legacy. Debbie will be laid to rest at Shiloh Cemetery, where she will remain close to the community she loved so dearly.

In remembrance of Debra Sue Arnett, let us carry forward her spirit of service, compassion, and joy. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
