Deborah "Debbie" Ann Nugent

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Nugent, 58, of Paragould, departed her earthly home on Monday, January 30th, 2023. She was born in Gardena, California, on March 26, 1964, to Gordon Nugent and Dianna Bailey Nugent. Debbie spent most of her adult life caring for others in the healthcare industry as a CNA. She was of Baptist faith. Debbie was a devoted mother and a supportive friend. She was known for her loving heart, her green thumb, her love for animals, and her addiction to reading books. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Nugent and Dianna Bailey Nugent, and by her grandparents, Henry Lenger Jr. and Mary Carlyss Bailey.

She is survived by her son, Kelly Johnson, her sister Tina (Kurt) Layson, her sister-in-law, Kristi Johnson, her three nieces, Tiffany (Ryan) Curtis, Madelynn Layson, Emily (Jim) Cooper, by her cat whom she loved very much, Bella, and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
