It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dale Robert Shelton, age 45, who departed this life on June 8, 2026, in Paragould, Arkansas. Dale was born on March 27, 1981, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a compassionate man known for his selflessness and dedication to caring for others, often prioritizing the well-being of those around him over his own health; especially his mom and sister- who he loved more than life itself.
Dale is survived by his beloved mother, Martha Snay; his father, Tim Shelton; his sister, Angela Snay; his brother, Joe "Nick" Hall; his grandmother, Barbara Shelton; his aunt and uncle, Ronnie & Susan Chittenden; his cousins Spring Freytag & Megan (Kevin); his friends Corey Arant and Billy The Kid; and his closest and best friend, Tabitha Kinder, who he looked forward to seeing everyday. Dale was also a devoted companion to his pitbulls, Mya and Lily, whose loyal presence was a constant source of happiness in his life.
Dale was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ethel Snay and grandfather, William Shelton.
A lover of life and nature, Dale enjoyed spending his time outdoors, particularly through yardwork and arrowhead hunting, which allowed him to connect with his surroundings. His passion for coin collecting allowed him to connect with others. His warm demeanor and engaging personality meant that he never met a stranger; he could easily strike up a conversation with anyone he encountered. He had a smile like no other, often making others smile by the genuineness of his smile. Dale cherished the company of others and took great pleasure in hosting gatherings, where laughter and music filled the air.
A public visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at Heath Funeral Home at 1:00 PM.
In remembering Dale, we honor a man whose kindness and empathy touched the lives of many. He will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
