Clifford Smith

Clifford “Ed” Smith, 72 of Paragould, died Tuesday at his residence. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor and a member of the Grace United General Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leslie and Flavie Coe Smith; 1 brother; 2 sisters and his step-mother. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Smith of the home; sons, Scottie Ray Smith of Little Rock and Douglas Allan (Darra) Smith of Paragould; brothers Robert Smith of Sikeston, MO and Marvin Smith of Springfield, MO; sisters, Ruth Ann Boyles and Penney Wheeler both of Doniphan, MO and Louise Copeland of Ash Flat, AR; and granddaughter, Kaitlin McFarland of Paragould. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00-11:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Mark Walker officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.
