Charles Burns

Charles Earl Burns, a beloved son, brother, and father, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on December 2, 2025, in his lifelong hometown of Paragould, Arkansas. Born on October 17, 1957, to the late Curtis Lee and Mary Lee (Quinn) Warner, Charlie was a man of great warmth and compassion, known for his hard work and dedication to family and community.

Charlie lived a life marked by resilience and determination. He owned and operated Burns Trucking, where his passion for transportation thrived. In addition to his trucking business, Charlie also drilled water wells and drove a gravel truck in his later years, showcasing his unwavering commitment to providing for his family and serving his community.

Outside of work, Charlie was known for his unwavering spirit and passion, particularly for his love of motorcycles, hot rods, and four-wheel-drive trucks. His hands were often stained with grease and oil from the many projects he undertook, as he found joy in building and resstoring vehicles that reflected his vibrant personality.

He will be deeply missed by his family, including his sons, David, Steven (Tosha), and Dustin Burns; step-daughter, Kimber (Chad) McMillon; sister, Mary "Cissy" Stevenson; his brothers, William "Billy" (Kim) Burns and Curtis (Joan) Burns; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Each of these family members held a special place in Charlie' heart, and he cherished the many moments spent together.

Charles Earl Burns will be remembered not only for his work ethic but also for his loving spirit, kind heart, and the countless lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
