Cecil Michael "Mike" Meridith, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on November 23, 1974, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Mike was a proud member of his community and a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for 26 years, where he served as a supervisor.

Mike is survived by his loving spouse, Missy Meridith; his devoted father, Cecil (Mary) Meridith; his cherished mother, Donna Craig; his beloved children, Alex and Allison Meridith; his adored step-children, Jacey (Michael) Biddle, Kaylon (Justin) Lucy, Bailey (Jeremy) Goff, Kylee Madi, Marc Madi, and Nick (Kiley) Goblish; his sister, Crystal (Greg) Steen; brother, Shawn (Heidi) Dacus, as well as numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mike was preceded in death by his mentor, Jerry Dacus, a man he greatly admired; and his step-dad, Gene Craig.

Mike was a man of many passions. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, often found relishing in the joy of fishing or working on cars. He enjoyed taking trips with his family to Branson. Mike had a profound love for motorcycles and embraced the thrill of the open road. He was particularly known for sneaking pictures of his wife, hoping to capture her in candid moments, as he delighted in making her happy. Their time spent together attending numerous ballets was a testament to his devotion and love for her.

A faithful member of Finch Baptist Church, Mike's life reflected a deep commitment to his faith and community. He approached life with a sense of joy and purpose, finding happiness in moments spent with loved ones.

The funeral service for Mike will take place at Heath Funeral Home on Sunday, April 19, at 3:00 PM. Public visitation will also be held at the funeral home from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM the same day. Burial will follow the service at Lorado Cemetery. Family, friends, and community members are invited to join in honoring Mike's memory and celebrating his life.

In this time of sorrow, we remember the warmth and love Mike brought into our lives and the many ways he touched the hearts of those around him. His legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
