Cecil Lloyd Ragsdell, Sr.

Cecil Lloyd Ragsdell, Sr., 77 of Paragould lost his battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord on Monday at his residence. Cecil was a retired car dealer and a member of the Stanford Baptist Church. Cecil served in the Army as a Military Policeman in the narcotics Division. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Della James Ragsdell; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include his wife, Betty Bomar Ragsdell of the home; son, Cecil “Bubba” Ragsdell, Jr. of Paragould; daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Keith Crook, Tina and Scott Smith and Rena Ragsdell all of Paragould; brother, Bud Ragsdell of Judsonia, AR; granddaughters, Jordan Dell Crook and Hannah Kay Weaver. Graveside services will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00 at Linwood Cemetery with Rev. Marion Gramling officiating. No visitation is planned. The family has requested that memorials be sent to Stanford Baptist Church.
