Casey Ring

December 29, 1978 — March 11, 2024

Casey Lee Ring, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved daughter. She was born on December 29, 1978, in Houston, Missouri, where she embraced a life full of love, laughter, and cherished moments. Casey loved her Lord and Savior, and she lived her life serving Jesus. With her husband, they founded Captured Ministries which focuses on student ministries through camps and other venues. Each year they host camps from Arkansas to Florida for hundreds of youths.

Casey was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a beautiful singing voice, and for years she would sing at church, events, or as a part of a singing group. She was known to have a very powerful and soulful voice. Casey enjoyed crocheting intricate animals, toboggans, and blankets, using her creative touch to brighten the lives of those around her. Her generous spirit extended far beyond her craft as she found joy in ministering to students. Casey had a passion for Cherry Coke. If you wanted to get on her good side, take her a Route 44 Cherry Coke from Sonic. She would give you her full attention while she enjoyed her beverage.

Casey's journey led her to Pocahontas High School, where she graduated in 1997 before attending Williams Baptist University, where she met her soulmate, Steven Ring. The two shared a love that transcended time and space, culminating in a beautiful marriage on July 31, 1999. Together, they raised a loving family, including their daughters Anna, Elle, and Chloe, who were her pride and joy.

Casey is survived by her faithful husband of 24 years, Steven Ring; daughters, Anna (Jared) Veteto of Bono, Elle Ring, and Chloe Ring; parents, Ron and Carol Johnson of Pocahontas; brother, Kyle (Tracy) Johnson of Charleston, Missouri; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Kayla Sue Ring of Paragould; sister-in-law, Christy (Todd) Adams of Paragould; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces whom she loved dearly.

A beacon of light within her community, Casey was known for her kind heart and infectious laughter. To honor her memory, a Celebration of Life will be held at Harvest Baptist Church on March 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastors Laramie LeQuie and Larry Ring officiating.

Though her earthly journey has come to an end, Casey's legacy of love, warmth, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Captured Ministries or Harvest Baptist Church in honor of the life she lived with purpose and grace. As we bid farewell to our dear Casey, let us remember her with fondness, gratitude, and the everlasting impact she has left on our lives.
