Carolyn Mcdonald

Carolyn Gibbs McDonald left her earthly home to be with her Savior on September 26, 2023. She was born on November 20, 1945, to the late J.W. and Joella Gibbs. Carolyn treasured her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren who brought her endless joy. She also loved traveling with her family and spending time in her garden as well as with her dogs, Troubles and Coco. Carolyn was strong in her faith and was a prayer warrior for all that needed it. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dianne Arnold; and brother, Jimmy Hillis Gibbs. 

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Kathy Jo Gibbs; children, Bridgette (Mike) Batten, Stephanie McDonald, and Rodney McDonald; grandchildren, Cody (Ashton) Batten, Chelsea (Andrew) Knopp, Colton (Emily) Batten, Connor McDonald, and Sean McDonald; and one great grandchild on the way. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, September 28, 2023, from 6-7:30 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday morning, September 29, 2023, at 10:30 at Heath Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Finch Cemetery.
