Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the story of Brantley Brands, a great pup who joined the great dog park in the sky on November 23, 2025, just shy of his thirteenth birthday. Born on January 18, 2013, Brantley was a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, with a spirit that lit up every room (or backyard) he entered.

Brantley was the ultimate car ride adventurer. With the windows down and his ears flapping in the breeze, he was in his element. But don’t let that fool you—this guy was also a champion snuggler. Cuddling in bed was one of his favorite pastimes, especially when it meant being able to snooze while cozying up with his beloved family.

Brantley was all about his people. He absolutely adored his mom (some might say he was obsessed) and dad and was a proud big brother and loyal guardian to his baby human sibling. He took his role as protector very seriously, always watching over his little buddy like a fluffy guardian angel. His loyalty knew no bounds, and he was always the first to greet everyone at the door with a wagging tail and a happy bark, ready to share in the excitement of being reunited after a long day.

And let's not forget about his four-legged sister, Mabel—Brantley and Mabel shared a special bond that was filled with playful antics and lots of chin scratches, but he would never tell her that. Oh, how this little guy loved his chin and ear rubs; he would practically melt whenever anyone showed him some love.

Brantley was always on the lookout for food, and he lived for those tasty scraps and leftovers. Always waiting with hopeful eyes, he had perfected the art of the puppy dog stare and had a way of making every meal a little more delightful for everyone around him.

In his younger years, Brantley was known as the explorer, always sniffing around and discovering new corners of his world. But over time, he embraced the blissful lifestyle of a couch potato, relishing the comfort of home and the love of his family.

Brantley, you were an extraordinary friend and a cherished member of the family. Thank you for all the tail wags, goofy grins, and snuggles that made life that much brighter. You are deeply missed but will always be remembered as the happiest pup who lived every day to the fullest.
