Bettye G. Elam

Mrs. Bettye G. Elam, 85, of Paragould, died Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born September 4, 1928 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Alfred and Verna Irene Davis Pointer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Elam, Sr., son, Larry Allen Voris and grandson, Matthew Timmons. She was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter: Diann B. Timmons of Paragould; son: James Richard Elam, Jr. of Rosharon, TX; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
