Betty Jane Klein

Betty Jane Klein, 95, of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade. She was born in Charleston, Illinois, on November 25, 1927, to the late Emery and Sylvia Green. Betty worked at Robert Shaw Grayson Manufacturing for several years. She married John Klein on April 9, 1960. Betty had the most beautiful flower garden, and she enjoyed every moment she was tending to it. Her life was focused on two main areas: faith and family. Betty was a member at Finch Baptist Church and had a deep love for God. She also loved her family. Betty was a great wife, and she believed one of her greatest callings was to be a wife, mom, and grandma. Family gatherings were always a blessing to Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, John; sisters, Charlene French and Redyth Lindsey; and brother, Carl Green.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Laurie Peyton of Marmaduke and Sandra (Ron) Lucier of Paragould; granddaughters, Nicole (Gary) Yarbrough of Paragould and Cathy (David) Eckert of Fischer, Texas; great granddaughter, Ashley Frappier of Austin, Texas; great grandsons, David (Ashlen) Eckert, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Gareth Yarbrough of Paragould, and Garrison Yarbrough of Paragould; and sister, Velma Dallas of Odin, Illinois.

A celebration of Betty's life will be Friday, November 17, 2023, at 1 PM at Finch Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Ezell officiating. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery. Online tributes: www.heathfuneralhome.com
