Barney "Pete" Fears

Barney "Pete" Fears, 92, of Beech Grove, died Monday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Pete was a retired farmer and attended Walcott Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Lois Fears of Paragould; sons, Eddie Ray Fears and Charles Fears, both of Springfield, Missouri; daughters, Diana Manthey of Beech Grove and JoAnna Miles of Springfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday evening from 5-7 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Funeral service will be Thursday at 1 pm at Heath Colonial Chapel with Sam Becerra and Joe Rowe officiating. No interment will follow. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Bernard's Hospice in Jonesboro.
