Barbara Louise Watkins, 76, of Paragould, passed from this life on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was born on May 9, 1946, to T. J. Shepard. Barbara was raised by her grandparents, graduated high school, and married the love of her life, John Watkins. She worked for years in a factory before becoming a secretary in her later years. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John Ronald Watkins; daughter, Kathy Harden; and son, John David Watkins.
Family and friends will meet Monday, June 13, 2022, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery for a graveside funeral beginning at 11am.
