With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Avery Clinton Beliew, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was born in Paragould on October 5, 1953, to the late A.C. and Verniece Beliew. Avery left this world on February 16, 2024, while doing what he loved to do most...helping people. Avery graduated from Paragould High School in 1971. He married the love of his life, Diane Hunter, on July 3, 1973.
Avery was a man of many talents and passions. An avid fisherman, he found solace and joy in casting his line in the tranquil waters of Black River, Reelfoot Lake, and Norfork Lake. His skillful hands and boundless knowledge earned him the reputation of a "fix-it-all" person among his friends, who often sought his guidance and help for various repairs.
As the proud owner of A&Z Collision Repair for over 15 years, Avery's dedication and hard work shone through in every aspect of his life. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and his love for them knew no bounds. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 50 years, Diane; his son, Zach and wife, Kristy, of Jonesboro; his daughter, Andrea and husband, Jacob Tripod, of Paragould; grandchildren, Drew (Kobe) Brown, Sloan Tripod, Drew Veach, and Jake Veach; great granddaughter, Noa Brown; brother, Larry (Karen) Beliew; and several nephews and nieces. Avery was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marilynn Kirby.
To honor and celebrate Avery's remarkable life, a memorial service will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Kevin Edgar officiating. A visitation will follow until 4:00 pm. Join us as we come together to share memories, offer support, and bid farewell to a man whose kindness, wisdom, and love have touched us all. May his spirit find eternal peace in the arms of God.
Rest in peace, Avery. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever remain in our hearts.
