Little Ava Mrytle Johnston, a precious soul who graced this world for a short but meaningful time, peacefully departed from us on February 2, 2024. Born in Little Rock on March 22, 2023, to Michael Johnston and Samantha Vaughn, Ava brought immeasurable joy and boundless love into the lives of her family. At the tender age of just 10 months, she tragically left this earthly realm, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and innocence.
Ava, an enchanting little girl with sparkling eyes and a radiant personality, brought so much happiness to her family. Her gentle spirit resonated deeply with each member of her loving family, including her siblings, Landon Johnston, Aiden Johnston, Amelia Vaughn, Landon Vaughn, Olivia Vaughn, and Paisley Johnston. Their lives were forever enriched by Ava's presence, and her memory will forever be cherished.
Although Ava's journey in this world may have been brief, her impact was profound. She possessed a joyous spirit, finding solace in the magic of movies with melodic soundtracks, particularly the enchanting melodies of Disney films like "Moana". Holding her close, embraced in love, was where Ava found her greatest comfort. The soothing sound of familiar voices and gentle lullabies whispered sweetly into her ears brought contentment to her tiny heart.
Ava's loving family, including her grandfather, Calvin Landreth, grandmother, Maria Kagemann, uncle, Robert White, and aunts, Linda Kidd and Sherry Foster, mourn her loss deeply. Each of them, along with countless relatives and friends, were touched by Ava's innocence and radiance. Ava was preceded in death by her grandmother, Darlene White; grandfather, Ricky Conrey; and cousin, April Morris.
We invite all who knew and loved Ava to join us in honoring her precious life. A visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 2-3 PM.
Ava Mrytle Johnston may have left this world far too soon, but her time with us will forever be etched in our hearts. Let us remember her with love, compassion, and the innocent joy she brought into our lives. Though her physical presence may have faded, her soul shall forever shimmer brightly in the heavens above.

Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and forever dear."
