Andy Blake Rylant, of Paragould, devoted father, son, brother,and friend, passed away on Sunday, May 12th, 2019 at the age of 58. He was a 1978 graduate of Greene County Tech. He made a living as a skilled machinist and welder for many years and later worked as a part of the family business. Andy always had a generous and compassionate soul, would give anyone the shirt off of his back, and could always bring a smile to your face with his quick-witted humor and playful pranks. He was a collector of many things, but most notorious for his stash of multi-functional and miniature tools as well as his passion for containerization. His humble nature, dependability, and strong sense of integrity made him a friend you could always count on and could never forget. Andy is preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Rylant, Sr.; and son, Zachry Blake Rylant.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Spencer, of Paragould; son, Drew Rylant, of Paragould; daughters, Chandra (Nick) Bryant and Leann (Scott) Berry, both of Paragould; brother, Bill (Annette) Rylant, Jr., of Paragould; sisters, Jackie (Devin) Quattlebaum, of Nashville, Tennessee, Susan (Derek) Boling, of Paragould, and Crystal (Ben) Cox, of Lafe; grandchildren, Landen and Adalyn Bryant and Andrew, Casen, and Braxton Berry; nephews, Blake Rylant and Stan Mitchell, Jr.; and niece, Peyton Boling.
Visitation will be Thursday night at Heath Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. Graveside service will be Friday at Greene County Memorial Gardens beginning at 10:00 am with Rev. Royce Boling officiating.
