Alvin F. Foster

Alvin Floyd Foster, 71 of Light, died Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Alvin was a retired farmer and an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Floyd and Ellen Price Foster; brothers, Virgil, Paul and Lloyd Foster; sister, Velma Bowlin. Survivors include his wife, Betty Foster of the home; sisters, Weldon Bryant of Black Rock, AR and Diann Wall of Walcott, AR. Visitation will be Thursday at Heath Funeral from 6-8. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Paul McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
