Alma Qualls

November 13, 1950 — June 19, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alma Cliffene Qualls, aged 74, of Lafe, Arkansas, who departed this life on June 19, 2025. Born on November 13, 1950, in Paragould, Arkansas, Cliffene was a beloved figure in her community, known as a loving grandmother and for her unwavering dedication to her family, her work in education, and her service to the church.

Cliffene enjoyed a fulfilling career as a secretary at Paragould Elementary, where she passionately worked with children, nurturing their growth and education. Her commitment to youth extended beyond school; in her younger years, she actively participated in youth ministry at her local church, reflecting her devotion to guiding the next generation.

As a dedicated member of Southside Community Church in Paragould, Cliffene found joy in her faith and community, forming lasting relationships that enriched her life and the lives of those around her. Throughout her years, she was a devoted mother and, for many years, a stay-at-home mom, ensuring that her sons, Josh and Jeremy, and her husband, Travis, were always cared for and supported.

Cliffene had a profound love for her dogs, her home, and her cherished farm, where she found peace and contentment. Her warmth, kindness, and nurturing spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Cliffene is survived by her loving husband, Travis Qualls; her sons, Josh (Nikki) Qualls and Jeremy (Erika) Qualls; her sister, Harietta Morgan; her three grandchildren that she loved dearly; and a community of friends who will remember her with fondness.

Cliffene was preceded in death by her parents Harrison Wagner and Hazel Shipman.

Alma Cliffene Qualls' spirit will live on in the memories of those she touched and the lives she influenced. May she rest in peace.
