Woodrow Wilson Jordan, 92, of Paragould, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born May 18, 1919 in Diaz the son of the late Linzy Jackson and Alta Mae Jordan. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Gearldine Reeves, Clarcie Lee Reynolds, Ernestine Blevins, Mary Pettifield, brothers, Hurrle, Burley, Charles and John Jordan. Mr. Jordan was retired from Southern Pacific Railroad. He was an Army veteran and of the Assembly of God faith. He is survived by his wife: Lodema Jordan of the home; daughters: Jo Ann Young, Carol Tonner, Jeannie LeCourt, Linda Smith, Diane Hooker, Karen Powell; sons: Richard Jordan, Kenneth Jordan, Norman Jordan and seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday at Heath Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Reverend Michael Smith officiating.
