William Robert "Bob" Manis

William Robert "Bob" Manis, 83, Paragould, died Thursday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1928 in Ellsinore, MO the son of the late Harrison Roy and Mary Gertrude Freeze Manis. He was a retired machine operator from Monroe. He was a veteran of the Army. He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Dawson Manis of the home; step-sons and daughter-in-law: Scotty Dawson, Eric and Jennifer Dawson, step-daughter and son-in-law: Connie Wicker and Elton Collins all of Paragould; brothers: Jerry Manis of Carthage, TX; Albert Manis of Poplar Bluff, MO; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM, Sunday, at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, at New Liberty Cemetery with Brother Jerry Manis officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
