William C. Wayland

William C. Wayland, 84, Memphis, TN, formerly of Paragould, died Saturday at Rainbow Health and Rehab of Memphis. He was a retired salesman and was an Air Force veteran. He was the son of the late Henry and Zella Wayland. He was also preceded in death by his infant sister, Peggy Willene and granddaughter, April Shelton. Survivors include his son, Jeffry Scott Wayland (Kelly) of Delaware; daughter, Debra Shelton of Memphis; grandchildren, Kevin Wayland, Amber Wayland, Haley Wayland, and Alex Shelton; sisters, Wanda Messer (William) of Paragould and Carol Lynn Beeler of Lonoke, AR; and brother, Larry Wayland (Chris) of Bryant, AR. Visitation is Wednesday from 10-11 am at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral begins at 11 am with Rev. Kevin Edgar officiating. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
